Taking the plunge into the Sea of Dreams

I am enjoying the readership this humble little blog has received; it is a great honor to share my thoughts and feelings with those who have a love of reading. Literature and writing are my life and I thank those of you who share in my journey.
I have decided to take the plunge into publishing a book. I have two that I am currently working on, both are fiction novels, and I have done like so many others before me and procrastinated. All writers wonder if anyone really cares or if anyone really likes their work.  Some of the greatest writers inspired me in their personal stories of brutal criticism toward their work early on. I have received my own share of such criticism believe me.
I have had my feelings hurt and my motivation to write temporarily stolen by those who live to criticize, condemn, and complain; however, I continue to write because it is who I am and it is my dream. I have also felt the joy of those whose lives God has let me touch with the written word and for that I am so grateful.  I discovered I loved to write poetry and short stories as I began to study literature in college. I found my start in writing about politics because I have such a passion about America but I must say writing poetry is where I feel much more at home.
Thanks again to all my readers and your taking the time to share my life and my work, God Bless you all, Scott
PS. I will keep you all updated as I move forward with publishing my first book

I love writing about the raw, down-to-Earth, heartfelt realities of life. I love to write in a way that reaches into the human soul—to take the greatest pains and struggles in life, and make them a blessing to others. Fantasy is a wonderful, interesting thing—but real-life situations, feelings, fears, and dreams are an unexplored ocean of stories that need to be told." ~ ~Scott Biddulph~
