Front page news

I have been away for a few weeks and I`m now back in full swing. I wanted to share with my readers here at  my blog a couple of recent successes I have enjoyed in my writing career. First off let me say that I created this site for writers–novice to professional–to share their experience, strength, and hope about writing of all types.

The blog has a small readership so far of about 20 people, and in some cases reaches about 40-50 people by RSS feed; however, its a young blog and I have not been great at writing here on a daily or even weekly basis. But, I enjoy this little blog and hope to make 2013 a new year of new and exiting posts and conversations.

I have always done work on the internet in online magazines, blogs, and content sites. I write for the Hubpages, Helium, Elance, Writers Access, and others. These sites are a great place for aspiring, novice, and professional writers to both gain exposure and make some money. I was recently awarded with what amounts to a front page article at two sites (Helium and the Hubpages)–within two days of each other. I will post both articles here for your enjoyment. Thanks for all you do as readers and writers. God bless you. WP

He is currently working on publishing poetry, creative non-fiction, academic essays, and his memoir. ******** Scott has also worked as an intern editor for the University of North Georgia Press. As a freelance editor, he has done the layout and design of several books and magazines. He is currently working with several authors on various publication projects in which he is either ghostwriting, editing manuscripts, or doing the layout and design of their books. ******** Finally, and most importantly, he is a father, grandfather, husband, and dedicated Harley Davidson rider. He and his family enjoy the beauty of the North Georgia Mountains where they live—especially their screened in back porch where they love to bird watch. ******** ~ "I love realism. I love writing about the raw, down-to-Earth, heartfelt realities of life. I love to write in a way that reaches into the human soul—to take the greatest pains and struggles in life, and make them a blessing to others. Fantasy is a wonderful, interesting thing—but real-life situations, feelings, fears, and dreams are an unexplored ocean of stories that need to be told." ~ ~Scott Biddulph~
