New Feature: The Library Stacks at Two Drops of Ink

By: Marilyn L. Davis

Most of the writers and readers at Two Drops of Ink will tell you that they read – a lot. Why? For several reasons:

1. Enjoyment
2. Education
3. Escape
4. Enhancing creativity

We’re adding a new feature called The Library Stacks at Two Drops of Ink. It is a place to learn about books that can bring a smile to your face, teach you new skills, take you to new and exotic worlds, and help you grow, either a writer or person.

What Books Are Included in The Library Stacks?

Two Drops of Ink wants to partner with the author and promote their book or books published on Amazon. Right now, those are the only books eligible for The Library Stack. We may expand on this.

What Do We Want from the Author?

Send us a link to your Amazon page, a brief bio, jpeg head shot, and link to your website.

Are there interviews for your book on YouTube or on another web site? Then send us a link to those as well.

If your book is selected for The Library Stacks, most, if not all of these links will be included.

What Do You Get as the Author?

If you are an author, Two Drops of Ink can help expose your book to new readers. All of the following can and will translate into sales. Why?

1. You’ll get more exposure for your book
2. Your book is noticed by more potential readers
3. Selected reviews from Amazon are included with your book promotion

But how important are reviews? Very important, as it turns out. 90% of consumers read online reviews before visiting a business or making a purchase, whether it’s a washing machine or a book. And 88% of consumers trust online reviews as much as personal recommendations.

Who Can Submit a Book Review?

It’s not just authors that can submit. All of our readers and writers can send us a review; whether it’s a how-to for writers, fiction, poetry, or memoir.

So, think of books that:

  • Changed your life
  • Helped you overcome something
  • Enchanted you
  • Made you a better writer
  • Educated you
  • Improved your vocabulary, thinking skills, and concentration
  • Gave you a better understanding of a person, a time in history, or why you acted the way you did
  •  Taught you good writing techniques

Any of those will interest the readers at Two Drops of Ink.

Send  a synopsis of a book today at with The Library Stacks at Two Drops of Ink in the subject line.

  1. This is a great idea – though the challenge is to decide which book to write up first! Look forward to seeing what gets featured here.
