Recently, he won the IHACEL Global Award of Excellence: Living Legend of the 21st Century.
The Poetry Leaves Festival in Waterford, England etched three of his poems, “Our Earth”, “Our Days”, and “Our Boat”, and displays this decorative glass at Township Hall.

Bio: Anwer Ghani
Anwer Ghani is an Iraqi physician, poet, editor, publisher, essayist, artist, religious scholar, and author.
His name had appeared in Adelaide, Zarf, Peacock, Otoliths, Algebra of Owls, and others.His poetry also had appeared in Inner Child Press anthology “The Year Of The Poet.”
Anwer Ghani is the chief editor of “Tajdeed” literary magazine. He has written forty books of literature and religious sciences.
Anwer Ghan is the chief representative of the World Nations Writers Union (WNWU) in Iraq, the member in international writers association (IWA).
Anwer is the founder of Tajdeed Literary Institute and Tajdeed Publishing House.
