Girl, I See You
I see the way you look at him
Like he put the stars in the sky
Writes your name with them
I bet he calls you beautiful
And tells you he loves you
You’d do anything for him
Give everything
Just to have someone stay
Chase all your fears away
Perfect Instagram couple
Anything to get a double click
Have you fallen prey to the epidemic
Symptoms include
Black and blue
A grip that hurts
More than just your heart
Alcohol breath
He is not slow to anger
Girl, I see you
And I believe you
Can you believe me, too,
When I say
“This is not what Love would do.”
